About this Opportunity
Based in Harvey, Western Australia (140km south of Perth), we are seeking to recruit a pro-active Production Machine Operator who is ready to make a positive impact to our business and build a career with us. This is a full time, permanent position within our Production team.
Ideally, you will have experience in machine and process operation and demonstrate a strong focus on safety, quality and customer service. Previous exposure to the dairy/food industry, working with high speed processing and packaging equipment is preferred but not essential.
The successful applicant will possess exceptional fault finding/troubleshooting skills, effective communication skills and demonstrate understanding of GMP and HACCP principles.
Sound numeracy and literacy skills are essential and further food processing qualifications will be to your advantage. You'll also be a dedicated individual with a high attention to detail and have a demonstrated ability to build relationships across the business.
You must be self-motivated with the ability to work an 8-12 hour rotating shift roster and work overtime and weekends when required.
