About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Field Sales Manager – Melbourne West, you will be primarily accountable for achieving budgeted sales targets through the acquisition of new business and through the development of effective sales strategies within a defined metropolitan and regional sales territory.

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Achieving volume and revenue sales targets as per sales plan;
  • Achieving set product distribution targets;
  • Conducting sales presentations, coordinating promotions, merchandising and brand development;
  • Managing all placement of company point of sale material;
  • Providing market information and feedback to management; and
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities within your territory.

The successful candidate will be results driven and have demonstrated business acumen, with a view to providing the best possible results for the company, as well as adding value to the customers’ business.  
 
A proven track record of sales in the FMCG industry and/or selling through a franchisee/distributor network to end customers is essential. Tertiary qualifications in Business and/or Marketing will be well regarded. This role is suited to an organised and driven individual who has excellent communication skills and is committed to providing exceptional customer service through identifying and fulfilling customer needs.
