About the Opportunity
We are now seeking to recruit a Farm Field Services Officer to provide primary liaison and support to our Raw Milk Suppliers in Harvey, Western Australia. This is a challenging yet entirely rewarding role.
Reporting to the WA Milk Supply Manager, this position will develop and manage long-term farmer relationships, communicating across all levels of the business and industry. Other responsibilities include:
Other responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating win-win outcomes with the supplier and Parmalat to improve supplier loyalty;
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of farm related challenges and acting as the key point of contact between the supplier base and Parmalat;
- Assisting suppliers with farm issues that improve milk quality;
- Managing day to day liaison tasks including coordinating resolution of supplier issues (quality, budgets etc) and assisting with investigations with relevant departments; and
- Utilising relevant reporting mechanisms to provide accurate information and feedback to management.
To be successful in this role you will need a sales mentality, an understanding of the agricultural industry and outstanding communication skills. You will also have the ability to build rapport quickly with a variety of stakeholders.
Self-motivation and the ability to adapt to change is paramount to be successful in this role.
A Diploma or Degree qualified in Agriculture is desirable.
