About the Opportunity

Located at Clarence Gardens in Adelaide, this position will appeal to a dynamic personality who is prepared to act hands-on when required in order to ensure the accurate and timely control of our stock. Attention to detail, following processes and procedures, excellent trouble shooting abilities and uncompromising time management skills are essential, with the flair to think outside the square when finding and remedying root cause issues.

The main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Continuously managing and reviewing stock and stock levels;
  • Investigating stock control from the warehouse to production;
  • Ensuring company products are correctly received, stored, recorded and issued in a sound, useable condition;
  • Liaising with the relevant departments to ensure stock levels are adequate to cover production requirements;
  • Carrying out inventory control, stock balances and at timely intervals via SAP;
  • Providing a service to other departments requiring stock information/valuation;
  • Performing routine and end of year inventory checks and stock reconciliation; and
  • Reporting any problems which may occur and could disrupt the smooth running of the operation.

To be successful in this role you will possess very good communications skills in both written and verbal form, along with strong analytical skills. You'll be able to perform tasks required with a sense of urgency and demonstrate the personal skills to build a rapport with key stakeholders. As a team oriented person, you will also have the ability to lead and direct, as well as the tenacity to follow through on initiatives. 

You will have a functional knowledge of SAP and SAP-WMS, experience working with RF Scanning,  strong exposure Inventory Management best practises and experience/knowledge of supply chain in an FMCG environment is essential.

Applicants should note that they will be required to work in a cold room environment for short periods of time on a daily basis for stock reconciliation.
