The Opportunity

Parmalat Australia is delivering a strategic initiative to significantly improve the management and use of information across the business and has a new opportunity for an exceptional Business Intelligence Developer to join the team.

You will be part of the BI team, which is responsible for driving reporting and analytics across all operations. The BI team provides a high level of internal customer satisfaction through building strong stakeholder relationships and engaging with the business. It delivers key initiatives as part of our strategic roadmap while supporting the existing capabilities.

As part of the team, you will be:

• Leading and implementing BI projects for various stakeholders, delivering high-value analytic capabilities that will help the business to outperform the market;
• Ensuring the consistency, standardisation and integrity of the company’s data warehouse;
• Advertising the BI platform capabilities and pushing best practices across the business;
• Thinking “Out of the box” to deliver innovative solutions where mobility comes first; and
• Supporting key users on the existing analytics applications.

Your Experience, Skills and Attributes

You must be able to demonstrate:

• Outstanding communication skills and stakeholder management;
• Business focus and strong ability to understand, improve and standardize business processes;
• Ability to build strong relationships while influencing, guiding, coaching and working with stakeholders, peers and external resources to deliver BI solutions that create real value;
• Solid understanding of leading and contemporary practices and capabilities in information management, data governance, reporting and analytics;
• Advanced analytical, design and development skills developed through multiple complex BI initiatives;
• 4 to 5 years of hands-on development experience with SAP Business Warehouse; and
• Ability to drive a BI project from start to finish, delivering ambitious outcomes.

• A strong desire and motivation to deliver innovative solutions that are of high quality and generate commercial value;
• Ability to identify opportunities, communicate the benefits and win support with both technical and business stakeholders;
• Development experience with:
  • SAP Business Objects BI Platform, including Lumira and Design Studio;
  • SAP Data Services and Information Steward;
• Experience in a fast moving consumer goods manufacturer;
• Tertiary qualification(s) in a commerce or computer science related field; and
• Prince2 certification and/or experience with Agile methodology.
