About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you will be primarily accountable for achieving budgeted sales targets and development of effective sales strategies within a defined metropolitan sales territory.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing and meeting with your existing client portfolio – 250 Customers across Independents/P&C
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities within your territory
  • Infiltrate and increase product categories and ranges within your customers
  • Managing the relationships with the distributor network
  • Conducting sales presentations, coordinating promotions, merchandising & product development
  • Planning sales activities and reporting on customer performance
  • Providing market information and feedback to management

You will have previous Sales experience within the FMCG industry ideally with experience selling to Retail, Convenience, Supermarkets and Distributors. You will have previous success in managing and growing a sales territory and strong skills in Business Development and Account Management (Portfolio $9M).

The successful candidate will be results driven and have demonstrated business acumen with a view to providing the best possible results for the company as well as adding value to the customers’ business. Being based remotely you will need to be highly organised, self-motivated, responsible and accountable.
