About this Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive Electrician - with a current Nominee licence - to join our team in Harvey, WA (140km south of Perth).
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will provide your expertise to ensure electrical work is supervised and compliant. Your main responsibilities will include, but will no be limited to:
- Acting as Nominee under the company’s in-house licence;
- Ensuring adherence to all Workplace Health & Safety standards, legislative and regulatory requirements, company policies and good housekeeping practices; and
- Providing leave cover for shift Electricians whose main responsibility is preventative maintenance and breakdown work.
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Current Electrical Nominee licencing, electrical licence and electrical trade qualification;
- Excellent communication & collaborative skills; and
- Previous experience in a 24/7 food or FMCG plant maintenance environment would be highly regarded.
This role may require you to work some shift work and weekends where required. You will need to have the flexibility to meet the needs of the business.
It is important you be self-motivated with the ability to work closely with other trade disciplines. A working knowledge of SAP is desirable.
The successful candidate will be a dedicated individual, who shows attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and rapport within the business.
